The Play Audit is an independent comparison website funded partly through affiliate commissions. This page explains what that means in plain language.

How we earn money

Some links on this site are tracked affiliate URLs. If you click through and create an account with a listed operator, we may receive a referral fee. The fee comes from the operator's marketing budget — it does not increase what you pay or reduce your bonus.

What affiliates cannot buy

Operators do not pay for review scores, ranking position or favourable wording. Our scorecards rate licensing, games, live play, mobile, studios, welcome offer clarity, support and usability based on editorial assessment. A higher commission deal does not move a brand up the list.

Our independence

We are not a casino operator, not a regulator, and not owned by any gambling brand we review. We do not run games, accept deposits or process withdrawals. Our role is comparison and information only.

Identifying affiliate links

Primary “Visit site” buttons use rel="sponsored noopener noreferrer" and point to operator domains with tracking parameters. These are placeholder tracking codes until replaced with live affiliate credentials by the site owner.
